Since its construction, ordered by Louis XIV in 1678, it has seen everyday court life as well als prociamations of empires and even the official ending of a World War in 1919. Ever since his first visit to this magical space, Lang Lang had dreamed of performing there. When his dream came to fruition in the form of a special concert on June 22, 2015, Lang Lang selected Chopin’s four momentous Scherzi and Tchaikovsky’s rare masterly cycle The Season to present to his audience. Captured by multiple cameras, this 90-minute film allows you an unprecedented experience of this once-in-a-lifetime recital.
